Passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville.
Yayoi was born on August 10, 1931 in Hokkaido, Japan to the late Sawano and Hisanosuke Ando.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rodney.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Kay (Michael) Harris, son, Larry Lanier (fiancé Crystal Dumolt), granddaughter, Emily Crompton, great granddaughter, Maya Crompton, She was blessed to have step grandchildren, Brandon (Misty) Harris, Megan (Brent) Coffey and step grandchildren, Addison & Anna Harris, Emerson & Grayson Coffey.
Most knew her as Nancy. She was a retired employee of Anchor Hocking after 20 years. She enjoyed family time, traveling, her flowers, gardening, fishing, sewing, and playing cards with her friends.
Friends may call from 1:00~3:00 pm Friday, March 5, at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St. New Lexington followed by funeral services at 3:00 pm with Pastor Paul Bugglin officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction City. Covid-19 guidelines will be observed. www.chutewiley.com.
