William D. "Bill" Garey

Passed away Tuesday at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.

Bill was an employee of Cerco Company in Crooksville. He was a veteran of the Unted States Air Force, Member of American Legion Post #71 of Roseville, New Lexington & Crooksville Eagles and New Lexington Elk's 509.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Sowers Garey, his mother; Betty Cavinee of New Lexington, his children; Kim (Rod Eppley) Garey Whitehouse of Roseville, Jennfer (David) Graham of Zanesville, Mandy (Rod) Sprankle of Crooksville, Tammy (Greg) Cook, New Lexington, Tina (Greg) Williams of Crooksville & Keith Dillinger of Roseville. 15 beloved grandchildren, step brother Jeff (Carol) Cavinee, and a step sister, Ginger Bowen.

He was preceded in death by his father, William P. Garey, his step-father, Walter W. Cavinee, amd a brother, Dale Kackley.

Callng hours will be held from 2-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Newlon and Rev. Larry Penrod officiating. Burial wll follow in New Lexington Cemetery with full military rites.
