Thomas "Tom" Eugene McCord

Passed away Thursday morning, January 17, 2019. Tom was born June 10, 1947 in Zanesville the son of the late Tom and Wanda Cox McCord. He was a retired employee of Star Electric, United States Army Veteran having served during the VietNam Era. He was Catholic by faith an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to work on his cars.

He is survived by his girlfriend Jennifer Harless, his son Shawn McCord of Columbus, brothers Bill and Donna McCord and Michael "Piv" and Donna McCord. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law Jim and Velma McCord.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home with Father Michael Hartage officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery with with military graveside honors. John Tague Post 188 will provide the services.
