Sylvia "Tille" Obituary

New Lexington

Passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016.

Affectionately know as "Tille" or "Grammy" she was an active member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabelle, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Sunday School Teacher and a member of St. Rose Choir. Grammy loved to visit Florida and her favorite hobby was shopping at the Melbourne Flea Market and Walmart.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, RIchard Smeltzer and their children, Richard Smeltzer II (wife Mary); Theresa Hauck (husband Paul) ; and Amy Collins (husband Ron). She is also survived by her special nephew Hal Cochran and her sister, Martha Penrod. Six grandchildren, Stephanie Poxon, Charity Potter, Kelly Manning, Dawn Mellos, Kevin Hauck and Ronnie Collins. Her eight great grsndchildren, Davey Manning, Audrey Manning, Grace Potter, Sullivan Potter, Nicholas Poxon, Ethan Hauck, Conor Hauck and Caroline Guinan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara B. and Edward Luckett, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at the CHUTE- WILEY Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson St. New Lexington, Ohio 43764.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Rose Catholic Church, Corner of Main and Water Streets, New Lexington. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
