Sue Ann Primmer of Bonita Springs, Florida, formerly of Crooksville, Ohio, passed away on May 29, 2025 surrounded by family at JoAnn’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs. Born on February 5, 1951 in Zanesville, Ohio. She was a 1969 graduate of New Lexington High School and received an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Hocking College. Over the years, she worked at Itt Automotive, New Lexington EMS for 35 years as an EMT, volunteered for the New Lexington Fire Department and most recently Perry County as a juvenile probation officer until she retired in 2016. She enjoyed volunteering every chance she could, giving a helping hand to anyone that needed it, creating a laugh and bringing a smile to your face.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Fred Primmer. Daughters, Mitzi Adair and Kim (Corey) Baker. Grandchildren, Kylee (Adam) Foster, Brooke Fluharty, Macee (James) Bradley, Haylee Adair (fiance Emileigh), Jacob Baker and Allison Baker. 8 Great-Grandchildren, Brother Richard (Carolyn) Gall, Sisters Brenda Ryan, Judy Snider, Mary (Mark) Steen and Jeanie Hobbs (Margie), Sister-in law Marian Gall and several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Steve and LaVern Gall, brother Patrick Gall, Brother-in law James Ryan, Larry Farrington and Granddaughter Whittney Lemon.
Cremation has taken place by Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home in Ft. Myers FL. A Celebration of Susie’s life will be held at a later date in Ohio, with the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S. Jackson St. New Lexington, Ohio 43764 in charge of local arrangements.
