Sophie Kocay Fogarty

She was born in McKees Rocks,Pennsylvania. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of
Somerset. Sophia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She survived by her children,
Sister Joann Fogarty, OSF of Dublin,
Albert L. "Butch" (Emily) Fogarty
of New Lexington,
and James "Jim" (Vickie) Fogarty of Thornville.
Grandchildren, Christy L. McCabe, Stoney, Stephen, and Brian Fogarty, Sharon Starner, Jessica Hayes, Jason Starner, and Selora L. Fogarty.
10 great grandchildren,
a brother, Edward Kocay of McKees Rocks, PA,
and a sister, Bertha Krawczyk of Monroeville, PA.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Albert L. Fogarty, Sr. (June 22, 2008), a daughter, Betty Fogarty Starner, (February 22, 2008) and a infant son, Wlliam Richard Fogarty.

Calling hours will be held from 4-8 pm Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the funeral home with Rosary and prayer services at 7:30 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, May 23, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5757 Twp. Road 383 NE (Old Somerset Road)
Somerset. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
