Passed away peacefully on Saturday morning at her residence with her family by her side. She was born July 21, 1947 in Corning, the daughter of the late Frank and June Fitch Wycinski. 

She retired from the Kroger Company after many years of service, member of the Perry County Democratic party and loved to go gambling and playing bingo.

Shelby is survived by her husband, David "Gene" Murphy and her daughter, Kelley Murphy. Brothers and sister in laws, Patty (Tom) Garbeline of Corning, Jeffrey (Roberta) Murphy of Logan and Chris (Christy) Murphy of Corning.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington.
