Shannon Curtis McPeak “Curly Sue” of Bremen, Ohio, formerly of New Lexington, Ohio, gained his wings and left this earth to be reunited in Heaven with his loved ones at 2:12 pm, May 28th, 2023.
Curt “Curly” loved his family and friends with a heart of gold. He was a free-spirited, adventurous, hardworking, kindhearted soul. He enjoyed helping all people and would do anything for anyone. He had many passions in life including his family, concrete work, hobbies such as fixing up his camper, boxing, weightlifting and being on the water and outdoors with his family. He was extremely proud of his kids and grandkids. He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Uncle. His friends were all his family and he held everyone to a high standard. He only wanted the best for everyone around him. He had a grin that would make anyone laugh and smile and was a big jokester. He loved making people laugh but was also a leader. He was a skilled concrete worker and Foreman for many years. He was very passionate about his work, his family, friends and living life. “Curly” was a very proud man in many ways and to know him was to love him, he was one of the good ones!
He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on January 8th 1981. He is survived by his loving Mother Constance E. (Enczi) McPeak “Connie” of Bremen, Ohio, his devoted identical twin Brother Isaiah K. McPeak of Bremen, Ohio, loving Sisters’ Amanda E. McPeak of Columbus, Ohio and Kayla A. Gillette of Zanesville, Ohio. His beloved children, Evan C. McPeak, Emily J. McPeak of McConnelsville, Ohio, and Owen Price of Marietta, Ohio. Loving Grandchildren Syler Jay Curtis McPeak, Zohen Jay Curtis McPeak, Brooklyn I. Lightfritz, Alby Price, and many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Proceeded in death by his Grandparents Andrew and Wilma Enczi, Uncles Steven A. Enczi and Harlen D. Enczi, Aunt Olive A. Enczi, and longtime comrade Joseph K. Hannum. Friends may call on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 11:oo am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery. Pastor Marc Canton officiating. www.chutewiley.com.
