Sarah Irene Mohler, 93, of Junction City, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 5,2023. Born September 21, 1929, in Perry County, she and her husband raised their children and built their family legacy in the same valley where she lived her entire life.
Sarah was a member of the United Church of God. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker, vegetable and flower gardener, skilled quilter, gospel singer and member of the quartet know as the Gospel-Aires. She was an accomplished writer, selling several articles and stories to various Ohio magazines. She enjoyed working Bible crossword puzzles and reading through the Bible. She loved Jesus and was a mighty prayer warrior for those she knew and loved.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles Mohler; parents, Walter and Alice Whitmer; three older brothers, Charles, Gene and Jack and by two younger sisters, Clara Burgess and Bernice Weiss.
Sarah is survived by her children, Mike (Sherry) Mohler, Steve (Ardis) Mohler, Debra (Randy Bloom) and Angela (Tim Kelley).
Sarah’s cup runneth over with a quiver full of 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
