Samantha "Sammie" K. Thompson

Sammie was taken away from the world far too soon as the result of a one car auto accident on Saturday, October 16, 2010.

She was born May 21, 1992 in Germany to Bill and Michelle Thompson. She was a 2010 graduate of New Lexington High School and was currently seeking her Nursing Degree from Hocking College in Nelsonville. Sammie was the type of person who never met a stranger, and will be greatly missed. She loved and was loved by many, her smile could of gone for miles. She was truly the apple of her parent's eyes, and refused to let anyone go without a smile while in her presence. She is gone but not forgotten.

Survived by her parents Bill and Michelle, sister; Ashley and Ashley's boyfriend Drew, brother, Billy, Jr., half brother, Dwayne and grandparents, David and Sandy Thompson, Shirley Balsley, John Busey, and Ernie Balsley along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and family and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandfather Willard Gross.

Calling hours will be 5-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Rick Cline officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction City.
