Ruby passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at New Lexington Care and Rehab Center.
She was born April 8, 1923 to the late Scott and Golda Thompson Castle. She was a member of the Hemlock Community Church.
Survivors include her niece, Patsy (Comley) and her husband (Rev. Michael) Martin of Logan whom she raised as her daughter. Step-daughter, Janet Kay (Bill) Devereaux of Junction City, a niece, Lois (Ralph) Cundiff of Vinton, several nieces and nephews. 5 grand children, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A sister Mary Rose Ward of Paintsville, Kentucky.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James Snowden, step-mother, Bertha Castle, 2 sisters, Opal & Virgnia, and a brother, Scotty.
Callng hours will be held Thursday, August 8, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Martin and Rev. Ernie Eing officiating. Burial will follow in Dew Cemetery, Corning.
