Roberta R Christy

Roberta R. Christy 92 of New Lexington, Ohio died Monday April 15, 2024 in Lancaster, Ohio. She was born July 15, 1931 to the late Francis (Frank) and Rose (Gordon) Sweeney.

Roberta was a retired employee of the Perry County Court, Pamida and TG&Y. She was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in New Lexington, Ohio. She was a devoted wife and mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children; Rose (Jeff) Storts-Klingler, Mike Christy, Pamela (Chris) Euman, Margaret (George) Sherman; Grandchildren, Amanda (Luis) Olivas, Clarissa (Pablo) Moctezuma, George (Falon) Sherman, Isabel Sherman; Great Grandchildren; Lily, Abby, Sammy, Caitlyn, Natalie;  Brothers, Richard (Sharon) Sweeney, Thomas  Sweeney, Dennis (JoAnn) Sweeney, Sisters Madonna (James) Ketcham and Elizabeth Sweeney.

Preceded in death by her parents, Husband Rodney Christy;  Brothers Bernard (Kathy) Sweeney, Francis (JoAnn) Sweeney Sisters; Mary Agnes Sweeney, Louella (Robert) Cozad.

Calling hour will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday April 18, 2024 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Junction City, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday April 19, 2024 at 11:00 am  with Father Todd Lehigh as Celebrant at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1170 St. Rt. 668 S, Junction City.
