Passed away December 27, 2012.
He was born in New Lexington and was the son of the late Frank nad Mildred Ricketts Quinn.
Member of St.Rose Catholic Church, World War II Navy Veteran having served on the USS Wadsworth and Pacific Theater. Lifetime member of New Lexington Elk's 509 and Eagles 2070, New Lexington American Legion Post 188, Forty & Eight, New Lexington VFW 2806, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus MacGahan Council, retired employee of Lempco, and worked for many years at Dusie's Tavern, and called Bingo at the American Legion for many years.
Survived by his children; Beverly (Michael) Tolliver of Somerset, Steve (Dixie) Quinn of Somerset, Tim (Kay) Quinn of Las Vegas, Linda (Don) Goodyear of Nashport,
Jack (Tina) Quinn of Rushville and Patrick Quinn of Somerset. 18 grandchildren, and seveeral great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Brothers; Chuck (Mildred) Quinn of New Lexington,
Michael (Mary) Quinn of Fredericktown, and a sister; Patricia "Pat" (Dan) Juzwiak of Richwood.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Thelma Abram Quinn, sisters; Margaret, Iwelda, and Dorothy and his brotheer; Bill.
Calling hours will be held from 2:00 -6:00 Sunday at the funeral home with American Legion services at 2:00, VFW at 4:00, Elks at 4:30, Eagles at 5:00 and Rosary at 5:30.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Rose Catholic Church, corner of Main & Water Sts., with Father Dan Dury as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington with full Military Graveside Rites.
