Passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family at his side. He was born on October 24, 1939 in Perry County the son of the late William Clarence and Evelyn Marie (Deaver) Anderson.
He was an employee of Rockwell International from which he retired after 31 years, United States Army Veteran, member of New Lexington Masonic Lodge 250 F & AM and Junction City American Legion Post 376.
Robert is survived by his sons, Craig (Lori) Anderson of Somerset, David (Joyce) Osborne of Shawnee and Joseph Osborne of New Lexington. Eight granddaughters, Megan (Chad) Cochran, McKenzie Osborne, Leah and Sarah Anderson, Autumn and Audrey Osborne and Chardonnay and Kelsey Osborne, two grandsons, Zach Osborne and Clayton Anderson, two great granddaughters, Kenadie and Delaney Cochran, sister, Lelia Schmelzer,three brothers; Roger (Ethel) Anderson, Greg Anderson and Kent (Beth) Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Rose (Hinkle) Anderson and two brothers; Billy and Gary Anderson.
Calling hours will be held from 4~8 pm THURSDAY at the FUNERAL HOME with Masonic services at 6:00 pm and American Legion Services at 6:30 pm.
Funeral services will be held FRIDAY at 1:00 pm with viewing one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the interment at the Junction City American Legion Post 376.
