Rickey Lee Loughman

Rickey Lee Loughman 75, of Somerset, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025.

Rickey was born November 1, 1950, He lived a full and faithful life rooted in Jesus, family, and compassion. Rickey proudly served his country in the United States Navy, completing multiple overseas tours during the Vietnam era. After his military service, her devoted most of his working years to the oil fields, where he was known for his strong work ethic and strong character.

A lifelong follower of Jesus Christ, Rickey found his greatest joy in time spent with his wife and family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose heart was never more full than when surrounded by those he loved. Rickey had a gift for conversation and made friends wherever he went, sparking connections with his warmth, humor, and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mary Rosina Loughman; and his parents, Harley and Dot Loughman; and his siblings Jackie and Wilma Loughman.

Rickey is survived by his sons, Richard (Keisha) Loughman and Michael (Sarah) Loughman; his nieces, Cheryl, Wendy, and Robin; his grandchildren Larilynn (Matthew) Bogle, Shayne Loughman, Kaleb (Leanna) Love, Destiny Dickson, Tyler, Tiarra, Ryan, Savannah, Lane, Lilly and Jace; and his great grandchildren Braelynn, Grayson, Maisie, Levi, Londyn, Kashdyn, and Adelaide, Rickey cherished every moment with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with endless love. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, humor, and unwavering love for his family. Rickey was a true gift to his world, and his legacy will live on in all the hearts who knew him.
