Rex D. Parsons

Rex D. Parsons 76, of New Lexington, passed away Thursday October 10, 2024 at Genesis-Morrison House, Zanesville. following a lengthy illness.

Rex was born June 04,1948 in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Orbie and Maxine Davis Parsons of Corning, Ohio. Rex was a retiree of Hamilton Standard (Bryant Manufacturing) and Cooper Standard of New Lexington.

He enjoyed woodworking and spending time in his workshop. He liked going to car shows and was an auto enthusiast.

Rex is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia (Olah) Parsons. Two sons, Reagan (Linda) Parsons of Southern Pines, North Carolina, and Ryan (Lori) Parsons of Solon, Ohio. Two grandchildren, Gabriel Parsons of Park Hills, Kentucky, and Megan Parsons of Lexington, Kentucky.

Preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Helen Olah, and an aunt and uncle, John and Lucille Glass.

Calling hours will be held from 12:00 pm until time of services at 2:00 pm Tuesday October 15, 2024 at the CHUTE-WILEY FUNERAL HOME 118 S. Jackson Street New Lexington, Ohio 43764. With Rev. Richard Newlon officiating.  Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
