Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Metzger 82
Passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his residence.
He was born March 1, 1934 in Junction City. He was the son of the late Robert E. and Mary Elizabeth Haug Metzger.

Rev. Msgr. Metzger was ordained on May 28, 1960 and served as a Priest in the Dioceses of Columbus.

He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Mary Anne, Fr. Richard L., Charles E., Fr. Stephen A., Michael J. Metzger, Nidia Riley and a nephew: John M. Rogers. Besides his parents he was preceded in death his brother, Fr. William J. Metzger.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1170 St. Rt 668 S., Junction City with Vigil services at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m Monday, January 2, 2017 at the church with burial to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
