Olive Addeen (Enczi) Markin

Olive Addeen (Enczi) Markin gained her wings to fly to the heavens to reunite with family and friends on Monday, March 20, 2023 at her residence in Parkersburg.  After her courageous battle with lung cancer, she can finally be at ease. Olive enjoyed being surrounded by her family, kids, grandkids and friends, especially sitting on her porch with her neighbor and his son. Olive had an amazing smile that lit up every room she entered, and a heart so big that she held a place for so many people near to her. She enjoyed attending the Catholic church with her long-time companion Mike Glodowski and his parents. 

She was born July 1st, 1961 to the late Andrew and Wilma (Bookman) Enczi. She is survived by her children, Andrew K. (Stephanie) Wofter of Belpre, Savanna N. Nutter of Parkersburg and Scott E. Nutter of New Lexington; her beloved grandchildren, Kyra, Natasha, Brandon, Bella, Nick, Caleb, Anna and Kenleigh; her brothers, Frank Enczi, Junction City and Mike Enczi, Bonita Springs, FL; her sisters, Sharon (Matt) Zimmerman, AR, Virginia Mcintire, Zanesville, Kim (Mike) Drobina, Malta, Connie McPeak, Bremen, Phyllis Smith, McConnelsville and Charlotte Johnson, Zanesville; her aunt Forrest Bookman, Malta, and her special friends Karen Allen, Daniel Buchanan, Daniel lI, and Chief Pam.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve and Harlan, brother-in-law, Mike McIntire, and a nephew Eugene Hook.

Family and friends may call from 3~7 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Chute~Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson St., New Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home with Deacon Ed Christ officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery. www.chutewiley.com.
