Passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, October 9, 2020 .

He was born May 22, 1935 in Rehoboth son of the late Albinus and Grace Speaks Hammond.

He retired from Lucent Technologies in July of 2000.

Neil is survived by his son and daughter in law, Brian and Amy Hammond, daughter, Kristen of Pickerington, grandchildren, Rachel (Andrew) Radford, Austin (Mallory) Hammond, Olivia, and Jake. Great grandchildren, Pierce, Anderson and Nova.  A niece, Patty Shipley Baker.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Shipley, nephews, Bob and Rick Shipley.

No calling hours will be observed.
