Neil J. Gordon 90

formerly of Newark passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at FairHope Hospice/Pickering House, Lancaster.

He was born March 15, 1933, in Parma, son of the late Walter and Sadie Gordon.

Neil was a graduate of Junction City High School, United States Marine Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict, member of the Newark VFW Post 1060, Junction City American Legion Post 376.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Gordon, special friend, Wilma Gordon and families,

sister-in-law, Helen Gordon of Junction City.

Neil was preceded in death by

his parents, wife Helen, sister Wilda, brothers, Patrick and William, granddaughter, Christy Barnette, and a niece, Cheryl Lehman.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm. at the funeral home. Burial will follow In New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction City with Military graveside rite by Junction City American Legion.
