Michael Allen "Mike" Gaddis

Michael Allen “Mike” Gaddis, 68, passed away at his home Monday, May 1, 2023.  He was born October 17, 1954, to Jack and Shirley (Marquis) Gaddis.  He retired from Lempco Industries Inc and Southeastern Shafting after 46 years of service. He was a member of the New Lexington Eagles 2070. He enjoyed riding his ATV around the family property, spending time at his secluded cabin and tinkering in his machine shop.

He is survived by his parents; daughter, Janelle (David Frost) Gaddis; son, Michael (Ashley) Gaddis; brother, David (Ginger) Gaddis; sisters, Cheryl (David) Marshall and Carla Gaddis; fiancé, Debbie Robinson; stepdaughters, Lora (Curt) Guisinger, Susan Sheppard, and Staci Sheppard Parker; stepsons, Tim (Traci) Sheppard and Doug (Missy) Sheppard; grandchildren, Alex and Owen Gaddis, and Brooke Creamer; step-grandchildren, Mike’s sidekick Chris Spencer (Amanda), Ryan, Andrea (Chris), Jarrod, Josh, Nick (Olivia), McKenna (Justin), Morgan, Seth, Blake, Jacob (Ashley) and Chase (Cristal); step-great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Gabby, Crslynn, Carson, Callan, Hutsin, Hendrix, Adalynn, Wyatt, Walker, Madison and Mason; and lastly his beloved Yorkie companion, Squirrel.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years Joyce Gaddis, stepdaughter Renee Sheppard, and grandparents Jack and Eleanor Gaddis.

Friends and family may call from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson Street, New Lexington, Ohio and also on Friday, May 5, 2023, at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Helser officiating.
