Mary C. Boloani Wiley 82
Passed away at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster on November 6, 2014.
She was born June 13, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant, PA to the late John and Amelia Rebold Boloani.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Austin J. Wiley whom she married September 1, 1951.Her children, William W. Wiley, Patricia A. Wiley of New Lexington, Mark A. Wiley of Golden Meadow, LA, daughter and son in law,Teresa M. and John W. Higgins of Henderson, KY. and her beloved granddaughter, Taylor A. Higgins. Sister, Margaret (James) Haynes of Bainbridge, brother, James ( Marsha) of Hendersonville, SC. and Harry (Alice) Of Mentor.
Along with her husband she owned and operated the Wiley Funeral Homes in Glouster, Athens, Corning and the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home in New Lexington. She served for many years as President of the Athens County Cancer Society and numerous clubs and lodges over the years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to travel, fish, play bingo and was an excellent cook. Eleven years ago she was given her most precious gift of all, her grand daughter, Taylor the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; AJ, John, Robert, and her sisters: Betty Clark, Rose Myers, Delores Sudbury and Patty.
Calling hours will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
