Mary Lou Leckrone 83
of Lancaster formerly of New Lexington passed away Tuesday,
May 5, 2015 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1931 in New Lexington, daughter of the late William and Ruth Manspeaker Paxton.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington, St. Vincent de Paul Society of Corning and a retired employee of Perry County Job and Family Services.
She is survived by her children, Gregory Leckrone of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Lisa (Greg) Rosser of Lancaster, Scott (Donna) Leckrone of Carey, IL, Kelly (Peggy) Leckrone of Lancaster, Amy (Scott) Figgins of Hideaway Hills, Tracy Dixon of Lancaster. Nine grandchildren, Kristi, Jenna, Kyle, Wesley, Tyler, Spencer, Matthew, Kayla and Jacob. Her beloved cat, Chloe. Her sister, Judy Snider of New Lexington. Brothers, Tom (Helen) Paxton, Dave (Beverly) Paxton and Steve Paxton all of Somerset.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother in law, Mike Snider.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S. Jackson St., New Lexington. Rosary service will be held at 7:30 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church, corner of Main & Water St., New Lexington with Father John Reade as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Junction City at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 203 Adams St., Corning, OH 43730.
