Passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. He ws born in New Lexington, the son of the late Charles and Margaret Hinkle Ratliff.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth A. Ratliff, children; Mike (Missy) Ratliff of White Cottage, Marcie (Jeremy) Denney of Nelsonville, Millisa Ratliff, Jamie Skidmore and Dustin Ratliff of New Lexington,and Magan Pettit of Little Hocking. 16 grandchildren, brothers; Charlie Ratliff of Findlay and Tony Chevalier of New Lexington, a sister; Janice (Mark) Spung of New Lexington.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Duke, Bill, Jay Ratliff and Eddie Chevalier, and a son Brian Pettit.
Calling hours will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with calling hours one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in South Fork Cemetery, Bristol.
