Marjorie Fay Watson, daughter of Clarence Herman Earley and Goldie Naomi Wiley, was born on September 4, 1930 in Roseville, Ohio. She left this world to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Zionsville, Indiana. She was well loved and will be missed by all.
Named valedictorian of her high school class, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Education from University of Detroit and taught third grade in the area. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Watson, on December 29, 1951.
Margie and Dick moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1958 with their two young daughters. She was a dedicated homemaker, daughter & sister, a Girl Scout leader, and an avid collector of everything from stamps to German Nutcrackers. She was also known for her intricately designed doll houses alongside volunteering at the Carmel Miniature’s Museum. She loved to travel, read, and babysit her five grandchildren. Margie is survived by: her husband, Richard Watson; two daughters, Cindy Beuoy (John) and Betty Vandivier (Blair); grandchildren, Rick (Amy), Katy (Brandon), Christopher, Jessica (Craig) and Jennifer (Adam); great grandchildren, Addison, Liam, Hayden, Prexley and Emilia; three nieces and a great nephew.
Visitation for Marjorie will begin at 10:30 am on Friday, March 9th at St. Luke Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Entombment follows at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make all donations to St. Luke Catholic Church or to the Catholic Relief Services in her name.
