Margie went home to be with her beloved husband, Bob on his birthday, June 3, 2013. She passed away with her children and grandchildren at her side.
She was born August 13, 1932 in New Lexington and was the daughter of the late William Howard Harrison and Mary Catherine "Cack" (Nash) Hillis.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and New Lexington Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 2070, having served as past president for many years.
Surviving are her daughters; Cathy (Dave) Parker of Corning, Joan (John) Bond of Crooksville, Carla (Fred) Monk of Pennsylvania and Rita (Everett) Dodson of Corning. 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Her sister; Susie (John) Elekes of New Lexington,sister in law; Betty Harrison and brother and sister in law,; Todd Thorla and Joan Gottke.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert B. Bayles, son; William L. Gottke, daughter; Susie A. Borris, brother; William Harrison great grandson; Brandon Dale Tittle.
Callng hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Chute Wiley Funeral Home with Wake services at 7:45 and Eagles conducting services at 7;00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, corner of Main and Water St's, New Lexington with Father Dan Dury as Celebrant. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
A luncheon will follow at the New Lexington Eagles.
