Leona M. Wendall

Leona M. Wendell 91 of New Lexington, passed away Saturday, October 19,2013.

She was born June 6, 1922 in Junction City the daughter of the late Wilbur and Hazel Strohl Clements.

Leona was a lifetime member of the New Lebanon Lutheran Church of Junction City.

She is survived by her nephews, Fred Clements of Eagan, Minnesota and Dave Clements of Novato, Colorado; and the family of Gene and Lillian Swick of New Lexington

Besides her parent she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Wendell (1972); and her brother, Elmer Clements.

A memorial graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the New Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Junction City with Reverend Justin Van Orman officiating.
