Passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
He was born February 5, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio. The son of the late Joseph E. and Dolly (Frauley) Triona.
He was a retired business owner having owned and operated Joe's Auto Parts, True Value Hardware and Lucky Joe's.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the VietNam War.
Joey was a member of the New Lexington American Legion Post #188, New Lexington VFW., Eagles 2070 and Elk's #509.
He is survived by his children; Troy (Deidra) Smock, Molly Jo (Adam Hazlett) Triona and Andrea Triona all of New Lexington. Grandchildren; Skyler and Colton and his cousin, James "Jim" Triona of Cincinnati who was like a brother to him. Special friends; Kevin and Jessie.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Friday at the funeral home with Eagles services at 7:00 p.m. and Elk's at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday with the Reverend Justin Van Orman officiating.
Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery with full military graveside rites.
