Joanne Griffin

Joanne Griffin, 79 of Nashport, Ohio died at 7:40 am on Sunday July 10,2022 at her residence of an extended illness.  She was born on June 5,1943 in Saltillo, Ohio the daughter of Clyde A. Ault & Kathryn E. Bash Ault.

Joanne loved to spend time talking to her family, friends, nurses & caregivers. She enjoyed playing solitaire.  She loved dogs, watching Hallmark, Fox News, and her Ohio State Buckeyes.

Joanne is survived by her daughter Sherry Nicholas, son's Mike, Brian (Teresa) and Anthony Norris. Brother Eddie Ault. 16 Grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.  Several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Son's, Jeff Norris Sr., Mark Douglas Norris, and Jody Robert Griffin, grandchildren, Felicia Norris and Jeremiah Norris.  Sister, Violet Moyer. Brothers, Russell Ault, Gerald Ault Sr., David R. Ault Sr.  The Fathers of her children, Ernest G. Norris Sr. & Robert D. Griffin.

Services will be at Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S. Jackson Street New Lexington, Ohio 43764 from 4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2022 with funeral services on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Gary Cooper officiating viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Zion-Porterville Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held following the interment at the New Lexington Park.
