Jerry J. Holbrook

New Lexington

Jerry J. Holbrook went to his lord and savior the morning of November 3, 2022 at his home with his loving family at his side.

He was born February 4, 1950 the son of the late Leonard and Evelyn Brown Holbrook Dawson.

He married his loving wife June 21, 1971 Susan Huffman Holbrook.

He was a United States Marine Veteran having served in the Viet Nam Era and an avid outdoors man. He loved to hunt and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church where he served as a Usher.

He is survived by his wife Susan Huffman Holbrook, one son

Jerry J. and Glenna (Anderson) Holbrook, step grandchildren, Stacey (Justin) Emmert, great step-grandchildren Jakob and Jarod Emmert, sister, Jeanie "Sissy" Holbrook, step- brothers, Ralph (Clair) Dawson, Paul

(Margie) Dawson, nephew, Frank Bennett, nieces, Jeanne (Greg) Holden, and Joanne Lott. His 2 fur girls, Zeba and Izie who were always by his side.

Mother in law, Marjorie Huffman,  Ray (Lisa) Huffman, Patty (Jimmy) Heavner,  Julie (Rick) Scheffler,  Penny (Jimmie dec.) Holmes and Jeff Huffman

He was preceded in death by his sister Ola Jane (Lucian) Bennett  and his parents and his father in law, Ray Huffman.

Call hours will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 215 East Broadway

New Lexington, Ohio.  Funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM. with Pastor Randy Foust will be  officiating. Military graveside rites will follow at the cemetery. A Luncheon will follow the services at the church following the graveside service.
