Passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Altercare of Somerset. She was born March 7, 1934 in Columbus to the late Ruby (Hall) Avignone and James Albright. 

She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she attended faithfully until she could no longer attend due to health reasons. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class and after raising all of her 7 children she became a foster grandparent for over 19 years in the local school system and was known and loved by the children as "Grandma Jean".

She is survived by her children; Debbie (Jim) Dennis, Lancaster, Mike McConaha, New Lexington, Bruce McConaha, New Lexington, Christopher McConaha, Roseville, Joyce (Joe Dennis) Epifano, Crooksville, Rick McConaha, New Lexington. 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McConaha (2000), son, Steve McConaha, grandsons, Brady Conrad and Christopher Hill. A brother, Fred Albright, sisters, Jackie Schmeltzer, JoAnn Huntzinger and Geraldine Albright.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington where funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm with Pastor Chris Santiago officiating. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery. www.chutewiley.com.
