Jane Ellen "Sis" Tracey
Passed from this life on June 27th, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on March 28, 1963 to the late Clem and Sally Jane Dalrymple Tracey.
Jane had a caring and loving heart, devoting most of her life to the care and nurturing of others, providing private day care along with her Mother to countless children as well as teaching hundreds of children at New Lexington Head Start. She was an avid Ohio sports fan, with the greatest being her beloved Cleveland Browns and serving as President of the Perry County Browns Backers for many years. Her other great passion being the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jane knew her sports, often knowing more stats than your average fan. She also enjoyed her weekend shopping trips with her Mom, Clay & Amanda. She can be quoted "you can always find a bargain if you know how to look."
Jane is survived by her Mother, Sally Jane, brother, Wm. "Clem" Tracey, and the starlight's of her life, nephew, Clay Matthew Tracey and niece, Amanda Jay-Kay Tracey (AJ) and her newest and brightest stars, great nephew, Ahlijah Daniels and great niece, Ahlissah Daniels. She was loved by many family & friends, especially her two special loves, Lane Mikel and Katie Rose. Described by many as having a heart of gold, she didn't know a stranger and was always willing to help or give.
Preceded in death by her father, Clem Tracey, and grandparents, Wm. "Whit" and Ellen Dalrymple and Ludlow and Edith Tracey. Her two fur babies, Bishon and Herbie.
Family and Friends may call from 2:00~4:00 PM and from 6:00~8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S. Jackson St, New Lexington.Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with Reverend Robert Heinlein officiating.
