James W. Procacci passed away at OSU James Hospital in Columbus. He was born June 21,1933 in New Lexington, son of the late Marino and Lena Epifano Procacci.
He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Retired Employee of Western & Southern Life Insurance Company. Served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, Member of the Junction City American Legion Post 376 and American Legion Riders. He was a member of PORKS (Perry Organizational Radio Control Society) and the Corvair Club.
He was survived by his daughters: Adele (Russell) Allen, Teri Moore and daughter number 3: Renee Young all of New Lexington. His Grandchildren; Jessica (Jason Jadwin) Allen of New Lexington, Tatum (Jennifer) Dennis of Somerset, & Lane (Lindsay) Allen of Crooksville. A great granddaughter; Riley Dennis, and a sister Anna Lamb of Akron.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Procacci.
Calling hour will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thusday at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home with American Legion Services at 7:00 p.m. and Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christiam Bural will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church, corner of Main & Water Sts., New Lexington on Friday, August 27,2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Victor Wesolowski as Celebrant. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemtery with full Miltary Gravside rites.
