Passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012,
He was born in Marysville, Kansas son of the late Clarence and Ruth Bowers Lunday.
Jack was a World War II Air Force Veteran, member of the Junction City American Legion Post 376, Lifetime member of the Malta VFW Post 4713, New Lexington Eagles 2070, Elks 509 New Lexington, Zanesville Eagles, Crooksville Eagles, and member of the Knights of Columbus MacGahan Club.
He is survived by his 5 daughters, Audrey Bennett (John) of New Lexington, Tamara (Michael) Shaffer of Lancaster, Sharon (Doug) Chevalier of Crooksville, Shirley Mason of Dresden, Barbara Wilson of Malta,13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Sisters; Mildred Estes of St. Louis and Audry Gingrich of Seattle, Washington.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Ronald Lunday, son-in-laws Frank Bennett and Alan Wilson. Granddaughter; Whitney Chevalier.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, at the funeral home with the Pastor Charlie Mollahan officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Junction City American Legion,
