JOHN BILLINGSLEY

John William Billingsley 70 passed away August 24,2024.

John was born January 24,1954 in Shawnee, Son of late James E. & Dorothy Shephard Billingsley. He graduated from New Lexington High School. He was a former employee of Peabody Coal Co. and retired from Buckingham Coal Co. He loved his family, friends, and his dogs Sugar and Spice.

John is survived by his Brothers, James Jr., Clyde, Ray, Frank Billingsley. Sisters, Mary Bateson Vernon, RuthAnn (Butch) Walker, Marie Nutter Stidham, Ethel Billingsley, Margaret Garlinger. Many nieces and nephews. Special friends Melanie & Jeremiah Toth family.

Preceded in death by His parents, his loving companion Linda Reed, Sister Betty Mae Billingsley, Brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean Bateson, Don Vernon, Linda Billingsley, Shirley Billingsley, Dave Garlinger, Leslie Nutter. Nephew Roger Billingsley.

No calling hours will be held. A private family burial service will be held September 20th, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the New Lexington Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Perry County Cancer Alliance. P.O. Box 724 New Lexington, Ohio 43764-0724.
