Went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Oct 10, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster following heart complications.
Howard, 80 years old, was born May 9, 1935 in Sugar Grove to Paul and Suzie Kilbarger.
He is survived by his wife Margaret (Self) Kilbarger, daughter, Karen Hankinson, son, Brian (Jacki) Self, daughter, Lori (Thomas) Bintz, daughter, Lisa Kilbarger, son, Rob (Missy) Kilbarger, Daughter, Sonia (Doug) Ramey, son, Alec (Tracey) Kilbarger, sisters, Vivian (Bob) McClaskie, Judy (Jerry) Nafzger, brother, Ken (Jan) Kilbarger, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, son, Rick (Melissa) Kilbarger, brothers, Leonard Kilbarger (infant) Harold (Joanne) Kilbarger, Paul (Marsha) Kilbarger and Ron (Carol) Kilbarger.
Howard truly cherished his family and friends and often spoke of his love for them. Howard was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union of New Lexington
and an active person of the community. He spent the last hours of his life doing what he loved sorting through antiques and collectible items. He will be missed by many people.
The viewing and funeral will be held at the Church of Christ in Christian Union of New Lexington of New Lexington, 700 Center Street, New Lexington. Viewing will be Wednesday, October 14th from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 15th, at 11:00 am. Pastor Daniel Greer will officiate. There will be food and fellowship at the Fellowship Hall afterwards. Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, New Lexington is in care of arrangements.
