Helen F. Helwig

Helen passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.

She was born September 27, 1945 in New Lexington, daughter of the late Charles and Violet Tague.

She retired from the Perry County Home after 30 years of service. Helen loved country music, her garden and flowers, and her beloved pets, Randy and Tiny. She loved to bake for her friends and family, especially her fudge...

She is survived by her husband, Richard Helwig, Jr. whom she married May 16, 1989. Children; Tina (Bobby) Shipley of Lancaster, Angela (Adam) Myers and Raymond Otting, Jr. 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Several brothers and sisters
Besides her parents she was preceded in death
by her daughter, Theresa Wright;
brothers, Charles and Walter and sisters Utita and Mary.

Family and friends may call from 4:00~8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Kenneth Teter will officiate. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
