Hazel Potter Obituary

Hazel Loouis Stover Potter 79, passed away Nov. 12,2011 at the Pickering House, Lancaster.

Born November 8, 1932 near Nelsonville to late Scott and Lizzie (Murphy) Stover. Hazel was a 1952 graduate of Waterloo High and a retired empolyee of the Kroger Co., and member of the New Lexington Nazarene Church.

In 1953 she married to the love of her life John Potter. Hazel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Pamela, David (Marsha), and Gary Potter all of New Lexington; grandchildren, Heidi Garner-Walker, Steven (Jennifer Tharp) Garner, Elizabeth Potter, Amber (Martin) Jones, Ashlee (Justin) VanSickle, and Ally Jo Potter, 11 greaat grandchildren; two dear sisters, Sylvia Doolittle and Peal Mace both of Nelsonville; numerous nieves, nephews; and two very dear friends Arlene Hammer and Julia Allen.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Genevieve Jones, Audery murphy, Bonnie and Edith Stover, brothers Russell, Roscoe, Dale, Odell and Sonny Stover.

Friends may call 4-9 p.m. Monday 14 and Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor James Cuvalas will officiate. Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington.
