Harold was born June 4, 1925 to the late Jonnie and Edna Jones Rose.
He was a retired employee of the State of Ohio and served his country during World War II in the United States Army in the 252nd Engineer Combat Division.
He is survived by his wife Esther Abram Rose, his children; Cindy (Tim) Wilson of Stockport,
Johnnie (Michelle) Rose of Mulberry, FL.
Step children; Richard (Gloria) Grubb and Vicki (Ralph) Dickerson of New Lexington, and Peggy (Randy) Tahyi of Fortney, TX. A brother; Paul (Rosalie) Rose of Gooding, Idaho, and his sister Betty Ferguson of New Lexington. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Ralph, Howard, Melvin Ray, and John Thomas. Sisters, Genalee, Kathryn and Leeann, step sons, Ralph E. and Charles David Brunton.
Calling hours will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. H. Richard Young officiating. Burial will follow in Coommunity Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington with full military graveside rites.
