Passed away Tuesday morning at The Pickering House, Lancaster. He was born in New Lexington on February 8, 1927 the son of late Harley R. Sr. & Bertha Mae Wilson Weidner.
Harley was a lifetime resident of New Lexington, member of St. Rose Catholic Church, retired from Hamilton Standard. He was a 1944 graduate of New Lexington High School. He loved to garden and ride motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Grace Marie Brown Weidner, his children: Janell (Gregory) Potts of Zanesville, Harley R. Weidner III of New Lexington and Marilyn J. (Tom) Magin of Blacklick. Grandchildren: Lisa Marie Potts, Garry Potts and Melanie Magin. Sister, Majorie Berry of New Lexington and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul and his sisters: Mary, Florence and Doris.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. with Rosary at 7:30 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am.
Thursday at St. Rose Catholic Church, corner of Main & Water Sts, New Lexington with Father John Reade and Father John Dreese as Celebrant, Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
