Goldie passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Autumn Health Care Center, Somerset.
She was born November 14, 1912 in New Lexington, daughter of the late John and Martha Corder Carney.
She was a lifetime member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Charter member of the New Lexington Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 2070 and an avid card player.
She is survived by her children;
Patricia (Andrew) Kelly of Florida,
Kathryn (Jerry) Turnes, Somerset,
Chris Talbot of New Lexington,
Donald Talbot of New Lexington,
Dorothy (Norman) Patterson of Somerset,
John (Jane) Talbot of Somerset,
Ed (Rhonda) Talbot of Junction City,
Ernie (Cheryl) Talbot of New Lexington,
Carol (Steve) Middaugh of New Lexington,
Step Children; Joey (Sandy) Phillips of Somerset,
Terry (Sharon) Phillips of New Lexington.
25 grand children, 56 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; George B. Talbot (1961), Joseph M. Phillips (1989), 3 sons; Darrell, Thomas and Roger Talbot. 6 Brothers and 3 sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Eagles services at 7:00 p.m. and Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, corner of Main & Water Streets with Father James Csaszar as celebrant. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
