Gladys I. Johnson

Gladys I. (Goodfellow) Johnson 81 passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday October 4, 2025.

Gladys was born November 26, 1943, to the late Thomas and Nora Mae (Christian) Goodfellow.

Gladys was a Nursing Assistant (STNA). She loved Elvis, her hobbies included doing needle point and puzzles. She was a homemaker who loved her family.

Gladys is survived by her beloved husband George F. Johnson and her children; Dulcina Swackhammer Seals, Michelle Lynn Frietag Johnson, George McKinley Johnson, and daughter-in-law Kendall Johnson. Grandchildren; Ashley and Tabitha Braglin, Christopher Seals, Layne Johnson, Maya Johnson, Kyan Johnson, Trenton Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Adrianna Smith. Great grandchildren; Leighanna Everly Burkart, Lily Marie Smith, and Michael Edward Smith. And numerous other great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister Betty Shriner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Lillian Swick, Dorothy (Dot) Fiore, brothers; Raymond Goodfellow, Danny Goodfellow, Bill Goodfellow, and Dave Goodfellow.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 7, 2025, at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S. Jackson St. New Lexington, Ohio 43764 with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
