Glada Kay (Mohler) Barnhart 88
Passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center.
She was born July 9, 1929 in Meigs County. The daughter of the late Sedwick and Delca Warner Mohler. She was a former member of the New Lexington EMS. Cook at the Perry County Jail, loved to play cards, especially Skip-Bo and Euchure, enjoyed sewing, canning, gardening, reading and making wine.
Survived by her children, Linda (Rodger) Seals of New Lexington, Jackie (Keith) Draggoo of Bristol, IN., Lura (Randy) Kuchyt of Montrose, CO. Grandchildren, Cathy, Jody (Jodi), Jill, Jerrod, Bryan (Naomi), and Monica. Great grandchildren, Kyle, Tucker, Jalyn, Janae, Jerrod, Jesseca, Tatum, and Brynn. Great great-grandson, Jonah. Brothers, Manning and Harley Mohler.
Glada was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald "Jack" Barnhart, her son, Alan "Barney" Barnhart and a grandson, Jesse Douglas Hardy.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the Rev. James Anderson officiating.
