Passed away July 18, 2019 at Genesis Health Care Center in New Lexington. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Willard and Dorothy McDonald Whissel.

She was a retired employee of the New Lexington School Systems. She is survived by her son, Michael Mohler of Junction City and her sister, Marsha (Emmett) Mitchell.

Gaynel was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mohler, her parents, sisters, Karen Irene Whissel and Mildred Murgatroid, and her father and mother in law, Bill and Corene Mohler.

No Calling hours will be observed.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family. www.chutewiley.com.
