Fredrick Clark, Sr Obituary

Fredrick Albert Clark, Sr. passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. Fred was born June 10, 1927 in Junction City and was a lifetime resident of Junction City. He was in the 2nd Class of St. Al's Cadet School in 1942.

Member of the Junction City Fire Department where he made the first run of the EMS. Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, served at the Naval Air Station during World War II and Junction City American Legion Post #376. He worked at Clark's Department Store, Junction City Tile Plant 17 years, Superior Glass 25 years, and Clark's Hardware for 23 years.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anna Mae Clark whom he married June 9, 1949. His children, Fredrick (Al) Albert, Jr.(Sandy), Janet Irene (Vern) Montgomery, Gregory Eugene, Rick(Marilyn), Jeffery Michael(Molly), Timothy Lee(Mary), 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Brothers,Harry M. Clark of Junction City, Michael Daniel (Helen) Clark of Lancaster,Harold Richard "Dick" Clark of FL, James "Jim" Francis (Glenda)Clark of AL, William "Bill" (Marge) Clark of Painesville, OH, sister, Barbara Ann Gianvito, Lancaster, and a sister in law, Shirley of CA.

Fred was prededed in death by his parents, Raymond "Toad" Aloysius and Cecelia Agnes McGreevy Clark. Brother, John Joseph Clark, sister Suzanne Cecelis Clark and sister in laws Eileen and Shirley.

Calling hour will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Junction City with Father Victor Wesolowski and Father Robert Metzger as Celebrants. Full Military rites will be conducted by Juntion City American Legion Post 376. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery Junction City.
