Fred L. Floyd

Passed away peacefully at his residence in Las Vegas.

Fred graduated from Weston High School as a star football player and went on to play Semi Pro Football for the Newark Rams in Ohio. He retired from Kraft Foods and has been employed as a Manager for Veri Verdi Apartments in North Las Vegas.

He lost his beloved wife Mary Ann in December 2008.

Survived by his children; Robin (Steve) Jenkins of Atlanta, Ga., Brian (Kim) Floyd of Clarksburg, West VA., Jana (Joe) Plumbo of Atlanta, GA., a step daughter, Gloria (Phil) Day of Sidney, Maine, a brother; Lee (Bobbi) of Yuma, AZ.,sister in laws, Joyce Wollenberg of New Lexington, Mona Weaver of Buckeye Lake and Inabelle FLoyd of West Virginia., Several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanita Turner, a brother Ted Floyd and a sister in law Marilyn Manning.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 am Sunday till time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
