Emil G. Bobik, Sr.
Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. He was born October 9, 1934 in Trenton, New Jersey.
Emil was a United States Army Veteran, member of Junction City American Legion Post #376, member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Junction City, former employee of AFFES Exchange Service, graduate of Trenton High School, Trenton, New Jersey and attended the University of Alabama.
Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Charlotte, his son, Emil (Sherrill) Bobik, Jr., his daughter, Annette (Frank) Ruby, brother, Jozef (Irene) Bobik of PA., John of Ocala, FL, sister, Eleanor (Hartwell) Vannoy of Hopewell, NJ., sister in law, Joan (Dumitru) Tudorache, Grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica and Emil III, great grandchildren, Rylie and Kylyr and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Girman Bobik, daughter, Shari-Lynn and a sister in law, Lynn Lowery Bobik.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 1170 St. Rt. 668 S Junction City with Father John Reade as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Junction City with full military graveside rites conducted by Junction City American Legion Post #376. Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S.
