Ellen E. Gentry

Ellen passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Pickering House, Lancaster.

Born August 29, 1917 in Junction City, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Imelda Boley Gordon.

Ellen was a homemaker, member of St. Patrick's of Ireland Catholic Church, Junction City and loved taking care of all her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Catherine (Roger) Kilbarger of Thornville, grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer) Kilbarger of Hebron and Kristin (Joshua) Sims of Junction City. Great grandson, William Kilbarger, brother, Sylvester Gordon of Junction City, and a special niece, Martha (Murle) Shriner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gentry, her parents, sisters, Marie Kunkler, Florence Clark, Rose Sweeney, Bonnie Wohrle and Betty Finck.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at St. Patrick's of Ireland Catholic Church, Junction City with Father Victor Wesolowski as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
