Passed away at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Slemp, Kentuky the son of the late George & Belle Holbrook Couch.
He was a retired employee of Peabody Coal Company. member of the United Mine Workers #134 and Tridelphia Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Connie DeBusk Couch, children: Annette (Don) King of New Lexington, Rhonda Couch (Kenny Starner) of Roseville, & Halee Couch of New Lexngton. Step-son, Travis Phillps of New Lexngton.
Grandchildren: Heidi, Scott, Andrea, Ryan, Cody, Derek, Travis, Kelsi, Raelyn, and Carly. Eight great grandchildren.
Brothers; Hassel of Michgan, Homer & Gerald of Kentucky. Sisters; Naomi Williams of Michigan, Haley Waddell, Wanda Eldridge, Nelle Litteral, and Della Caudill of Kentucky. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vada Duade, brothers, Ellis & George, Jr. Couch and a step son, Nathan Combs.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9-11 AM at the funeral home with funeral services to be held following calling hours at 11:00 am. with Rev. Richard Newlon officiating. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery, Rehoboth
