Born in Ritchie County, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Harvey J. & Rosa Maude Marshall Dobbins.
She was a 1943 graduate of the Junction City Hgh School and the 3B Beauty College in Newark. Married to the late Dale Keister for over 60 years. She owned and operated the Del-Dottie Beauty Shop in Junction City. Retired employee of the Goodyear Company in Logan. Member of The Junction CIty American Legion Auxiliary, AmVets of Thornport, New Lexington Eagles 2070, Co-Founder of the Junction City Fireman's Ball, and New Lebanon Lutheran Church of Junction City.
She is survived by her children, Martha (Bud) Springer of Thornville, Perry County Commissioner, Ed (Terri) Keister of Junction City and Dee Ann Keister-Smith of Cincinnati. 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Mary Lou Snider of Somerset.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dale Keister, her son, Richard "Ricky", son in law, John F. Smith, brothers, Charles Dobbins, Harvey "Jennings" Dobbins, and a sister, Jessie Green.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home wth the Rev. Justin Van Orman officiating. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction City.
